I never was much of a reader - I just didn't enjoy it and it definitely wasn't something I'd do for fun. After my son was born and we started reading stories to him at bedtime, I found myself looking forward to it every night - not just because it is precious time to spend with your child (that too!) but because I was really enjoying the stories! I read stories with him that I never read as a child myself.
