Last week's question was: Using the standard rules of the English language, how do you pronounce this word? ghoti Now since I obviously can't hear you, what you need to do is email me the more common spelling of this word. Doing that will show me how you are pronouncing it.
Answer: Fish (gh - as in the word "enough" makes an "F" sound. o - as in the word "women" makes a short "i" sound. ti - as in the word "nation" makes a "sh" sound.)
