The first Labor Day was celebrated on September 5, 1882 in New York City, but it wasn't made an official holiday until 1894 when President Grover Cleveland signed a bill making it a national holiday. Labor Day is both a celebration of the contributions and achievements of the men and women in the workforce and a celebration of the end of summer.
Office Express is closed today as our employees celebrate the holiday with their families and we will reopen Tuesday morning. We wish you all a safe and happy Labor Day!
